The Legend of Cam Newton Grows

All we heard after Cam Newton left Auburn was he would never be back and that he was just a mercenary blah blah blah...  However we learned a month ago that Cam was back in Auburn to get his degree though being a millionaire many times over.   He is actually in Auburn going to classes when I am sure they could have set something up for him to do his work remotely.  On top of that, Cam decided to take in an Auburn basketball game this week and amazed us all again...

We all know how bad Auburn's basketball program is.  It is pretty much the worst program in the SEC.  Yet another season has imploded and Auburn limped into last Wednesday's game against Alabama on a six-game losing streak while Bama had won five out of their last six games including beating vaunted Kentucky.  The game started pretty much like you would expect with Auburn once again stinking it up and losing 15-2 after 11 minutes.  The first half ended with Auburn down 23-13 and another horrible night of Auburn basketball appeared to be guaranteed.

Then in walked Cam Newton...  and once again the impossible happened.  The same Auburn basketball team that had stunk up the first half shooting a dreadful 13 percent suddenly caught fire and shot 57 percent and put up 36 second half points against one of the best defenses in the SEC.  Auburn was suddenly on fire completely shutting down the Tide and flying to the rim.  The crowd was in a frenzy and Cam even helped lead cheers.  In the end it was Auburn 49 Bama 37 and another chapter in the legend of Cam Newton was added...  WAR CAM EAGLE!!!
